This article covers topics related to controlling the mixer with Loopy Pro actions.
Mutually-Exclusive Inputs
if you have instruments or hardware inputs that you want to be mutually exclusive, use a Radio Button grid or Stepped Dial. For each step or radio button, add a Mute/Unmute action with Invert Value turned on as the Select/Deselect action. We use the Invert Value setting so that the selected input is unmuted rather than muted.
The video below shows the steps to set up a mutually-exclusive input selector.
Controlling Sends
Send knobs are controlled by Adjust Parameter actions for the mixer channel in which they appear:
- Color Channels: Color Group Actions -> Adjust Parameter
- Hardware inputs and Audio Unit Instruments: Audio Source Actions -> Adjust Parameter
- Buses: Bus Actions -> Adjust Parameter
To add an action to control a send:
- Add an action of the appropriate type. For example to control an audio input's send know, choose Audio Source Actions -> Adjust Parameter.
- In the Adjust Parameter setup panel, tap on Target and select the mixer channel whose send you want to target.
- After choosing the target, tap on Parameter. A list will appear of that mixer channel's parameters. If the channel has a send, it will be listed.
- Choose the send that you want to adjust.
