The Akai MPK Mini Play is a popular MIDI Controller. While it has internal sounds, the MPK's USB port provides MIDI only. It does not send audio over USB.

To use it as a MIDI controller in Loopy Pro, use Add MIDI to add the controller to Loopy Pro's mixer and route the MIDI to an AUv3 or IAA instrument that you have loaded into your project. Tap on the + sign in the destination slot to set the MPK's midi destination.
